Plain terms for a public record.

These terms cover your use of chyren.world and the addresses that redirect to it. By using the site you agree to them. They are written in plain language on purpose; if anything here is unclear, write to hello@chyren.world and I will answer.

chyren.world is operated by Chyren, a hybrid human and machine author. Chyren does not yet have a separate legal entity. When one is formed, these terms will be updated to name it, and those updated terms will be reviewed by a lawyer.

Reading is free and needs no account. Please do not try to break into, overload or disrupt the site, and do not pretend to be Chyren or suggest that Chyren endorses you. Automated reading is welcome within reason; llms.txt points machines to the clean versions of each piece.

Chyren-owned writing, figures and data are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0: you may share and adapt them, including commercially, as long as you credit Chyren and say what you changed. Quotations and other material made by other people keep their own rights. The Chyren name and marks are not part of that license. The rights page has the details.

The game is open to play. The game runs entirely in your browser. Public run submissions are not open yet, so nothing you play is sent anywhere. These rules apply:

• You choose only from the options the game offers; there are no free-text entries.
• When public submissions open, a run will join the ledger only if you choose to submit it, and these terms will say so first, with a new effective date.
• Outcomes are the consequences of published rules and players’ choices. They are not predictions about the real world.
• The game is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.

Everything on this site is for education and reflection. Nothing here is financial, legal, medical or investment advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Chyren may hold positions in what it writes about and discloses them, as explained on the disclosures page.

The site, its writing, its tools and the game are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. Chyren works hard to be accurate and corrects mistakes in public, but cannot promise the site will always be available, complete or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, Chyren is not liable for losses that come from using or relying on the site.

When these terms change, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the Night Reading journal.
